Release. Renew. Begin Again - Better

Year in Review → Creating New Beginnings

A Reflective Workshop for Clarity, Growth, and Intentional Living

February 4, 2026: 11am-12:30pm **Registration Required

Suggested Donation: $45+; Minimum Donation $25

This workshop is inspired by John Maxwell’s Year in Review practice and thoughtfully adapted through Wild Haven Sanctuary’s holistic, trauma-informed lens.

Rather than rushing into a new year on autopilot, this experience invites you to pause, reflect, and discern—so you can move forward with greater clarity, wisdom, and intention.

Together, we’ll gently look back on the past year to notice what shaped you, what strengthened you, what drained you, what you’re ready to release, and what you're ready to grow! From there, we’ll intentionally turn toward the year ahead—rooted not in pressure or "New Year's Resolution" culture, but in alignment with who you are, what you are purposed for, and can sustainably grow.

What You’ll Learn

During this workshop, you’ll learn how to effectively and efficiently practice a Year in Review in a way that can be repeated year after year. Using guided instruction and reflection, you’ll discover how to:

  • Review the past year without judgment or overwhelm

  • Identify meaningful lessons, patterns, and growth

  • Acknowledge challenges while honoring resilience

  • Clarify what to carry forward—and what to let go

  • Create space for new beginnings rooted in purpose and values

This is not about perfection or productivity.
It’s about wisdom, awareness, and intentional living.

Guided Journaling with WHS Worksheets

Participants will be guided through custom-designed Wild Haven Sanctuary journaling, created to make the Year in Review process:

  • Simple and structured (no blank-page paralysis)

  • Effective and time-conscious

  • Supportive of nervous-system safety and reflection

  • Practical for day-to-day use beyond this workshop

You’ll leave with tools you can return to—not only at the start of each year, but anytime you sense a need to pause, realign, and begin again.

What This Workshop Includes

  • Gentle teaching on the Year in Review framework

  • Guided journaling, honoring what was, and shaping the next steps, using WHS worksheets

  • Space for quiet reflection and optional group sharing

  • Practices that support whole-self integration

  • A rhythm that honors both insight and rest
