Please Read Wild Haven & Co.'s Waivers, Disclaimers, & Client/Customer Responsibilities Thoroughly.

In regards to any and all information on the website, online or in-person courses, services, and events hosted by Wild Haven & Co and partner organizations:

By reading or registering through the Wild Haven & Co. website you are giving Informed Consent, Release, and Waiver of Liability and understand that:

• Wild Haven & Co. is not intended to replace professional treatment, such as medical interventions and/or psychotherapy and prescribed medication when needed.
• Wild Haven & Co. does not dispense medical advice or prescribe the use of any technique as a replacement form of treatment for physical, mental or medical problems by your doctor either directly or indirectly.
• Wild Haven & Co.’s intention is to offer a variety of information and tools to help the participant in their quest for spiritual growth, emotional and physical well-being.
• The Organizers, and members of Wild Haven & Co. function to provide opportunity for movement, community, and reflection. Each person is responsible for his or her own medical care and safety. By participating in this, or any other event organized by this group, you are acknowledging you are aware of the risks, dangers and hazards associated with the activity and freely accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers and hazards, and further agree to release and discharge the Organizers, Members of Wild Haven & Co. from and against any and all liability arising from your participation.
• We cannot diagnose or prescribe. Please consult your physician or doctor regarding any topics you would like to discuss further before implementing any changes to your health routine or programs. Our products and services aim to be complementary and integrative with most medical and personal training protocols, but are not intended to diagnose, prescribe, treat, or cure any disease. If you are under medical supervision for any allergy, disease, taking prescription medications or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, contact your medical provider before adding any new products or services to your daily regimen.
• The information I, the event participant/client/customer, share with a Lay Spiritual Counselor is confidential. I understand and acknowledge, however, that a Lay Counselor is not recognized as a licensed counseling professional in North Carolina or South Carolina and, therefore, there is no privileged communication between a Lay Counselor and a Counselee.
• I further understand and acknowledge that, under certain circumstances, the information I share with my Lay Counselor may be disclosed to third parties.
• Those circumstances may include, but are not limited to, the following:
• 1. If a counselee poses a risk of harm to self or others;
• 2. If child, elder, spousal, dependent adult, or fiduciary abuse or neglect is disclosed;
• 3. When consultation with a fellow health professional, pastor or other counselor is necessary for collaboration or assistance; and
• 4. Pursuant to a lawfully-issued subpoena by a court of competent jurisdiction.

• I hereby release Wild Haven & Co., including its trustees, officers,employees, agents, volunteers, representatives, and lay counselors (“the ReleasedParties”) from any and all liability for damages, suits, actions, causes of action, or claim of any kind that I or my agents, successors, or assigns may at any time have against the Released Parties regarding any information I disclose during the course of participation in the lay counseling program.
• I understand I must be sober and not under the influence of excessive medication, drugs or alcohol.
• I further agree to receive Lay Spiritual Counseling services from Wild Haven & Co. under the conditions stated herein.

• I release WH&C from any known or unknown injury, accident, or hazard, previously, during, or after participation in an event, training or related activities; and that I cannot hold WH&C nor event venue owner, WH&C affiliate, personnel, or host, personally responsible for any liability.
• I hereby affirm myself to be in physical condition to participate in activities with no medical condition or injury preventing me from participating.
• I declare that I have disclosed all medical issues to the organizer of event/activity and/or their affiliates relevant to participation and have been cleared by a physician to participate in their activities.
• I recognize that any form of physical activity has a potential risk of injury. I hereby affirm that I am voluntarily participating in activities with WH&C with the knowledge of the risk involved. I assume and accept all risks of injury and hazards.
• (Acknowledgement of risk of Injury clause) *As a participant in the event/program, I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury and I agree to assume the full risk of any injuries, including death, damages or loss which I may sustain as a result of participating in any and all activities connected with or associated with such an event/program."
• (Release from Liability clause) "I do hereby fully release and discharge Wild Haven & Co (WH&C), its officers, agents, servants, and employees from any and all claims from injuries, including death, damages or loss which I may have or which may accrue to me on account of my participation in the event/program.
• (Waiver of Claim for Injury Clause) *I agree to waive and relinquish all claims I may have as a result of participating in the event/program against Wild Haven & Co. (WH&C), its officers, agents, servants and employees."
• (Indemnity and Defense clause) "I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless and defend Wild Haven & Co. (WH&C), its officers, agents, servants and employees from any and all claims resulting from injuries, including death, damages and losses sustained by me and arising out of, or connected with or in any way associated with activities of the event/program."
• I hereby consent as a participant in events with WH&C and agree to assume all of the risks involved.

• **Video and Photography Disclaimer: It is our first priority to protect the sacred experiences at WH&C. However, in the attempt of capturing the beauty of what takes place within WH&C, we sometimes take, or ask for, video and photographs. We sometimes share these captured moments. Though greatly appreciated, but not required, WH&C requests your permission to use and publish the same in print and/or electronically.
• I agree that WH&C and its officers, agents, servants and employees may use such photographs/videos of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as illustration or promotional materials.

• I consent to abide by all venue rules and state of North/South Carolina laws as well as Federal laws of the United States of America.
• I have read and fully understand the above Program Details and Waive and Release All Claims.

**By submitting your information to partake in, purchase, and/or register for any course, event, and/or service through our website, signifies that you have read, understood, and agree to the disclaimers, terms, and conditions above.
